Jalil is more open and outgoing than Samuel and is more likely to be the one out in the crowd leading the conversations with peers. Dont get him wrong though, he enjoys his space and is also somewhat difficult to open up. No where near as hard as Samuel is though. Being the older brother (even if by an hour) he feels the need to protect his little 'Sammie.' This of course doesn't go too well with Sam though, as both share a rather independent trait. Jalil will however do anything in his power to make sure he protects his brother. This includes using magic on others. He prefers to use trickery kind of magic, or other white magic to lure others away. If the time arises though, he will try to use a spell to stop threats.

Jalil's biggest fear is spiders. And snakes. Ick. They just creep him out. One of the things that could potentially make him freeze up is a snake pit or a spider's nest. Minor fears include chaos. Jalil is a perfectionist and neat freak and if anything is out of order he does not like at all. If something does get out of order he feels the need to fix it, even if he's in another person's house. This can cause some to be annoyed with him, but he honestly cant help it. It is like an itch that has to be scratched or you will go insane. His biggest weakness is his brother. By being overly protective, he will do anything necessary to get him back if he was in fact kidnapped.

Ambitions... lets see...he wants to be a forensic agent. He enjoys analyzing crime scenes, watching crime movies, and anything along those lines. He wants to do good in the world. He wants Hunters to know, not all witches hex people, and that a small population of them practice white magic. He will try to rationalize and talk first, then act. And if they do not listen, he will try to make them listen. He feels strongly for peace between everyone unless someone is obviously not asking for peace.

Jalil strongly dislikes vain people. That and people who are manipulative. While he feels they should be punished right away, he knows karma will be back and will get them when they least expect it. He feels that people should be given a chance, but feels that they will live with guilt if what they did was wrong in the long run. Jalil knows people become corrupt with power, which is why he wont really use magic unless he feels the need to charm someone (magic charm, not flirty charm. He's not the flirty type) or to help them out.



Jalil Joesph Zander (Or Ja as Sam likes calling him) was born on July 27th in Perth Australia an hour before Samuel. Right from the start, Jalil loved being the big brother, always watching out. He enjoyed playing in the lawn outside, playing cars inside, anything with Samuel. Right from the start both shared a strong bond with each other, and that bond only grew over time. Whether it be giggling under the covers as they played forts and castles, to rough housing the two were inseparable. The two always had (and have) each other's backs.

Of course when Samuel started studying magic, Jalil decided to study as well. Whenever Sam needed help, Jalil helped and vise versa. Unlike his brother, his relationship with his mother remained neutral. He really did not care what happened, as long as no one got hurt. Similarly , he grew closer to his father. Elementary and middle school was normal, he stood up for Samuel when bullies started messing with Samuel due to his hair. When the two were separated by classes it was not really too hard for them, they had 'friend' but preferred to keep their distance. This made Jalil look... distant and uncaring one could say, however that is not his personality at all. Once people got past his shell, he opened up.

High School was normal. He did take AP classes like Sam but only enough to get him past the first year of college. While Sam took a break from school, Jalil took classes for his Degree until he got his associates. Once that was complete, he transferred with Samuel into Harvard where he is studying Forensics and working part time at Starbucks. At this time he came into contact with a feline (Maine coon) familiar who goes by the name of Platinum. Like Samuel, he prefers to study White Magic.

Any important events? You can say him coming out was a milestone, he's only openly admitted it to Samuel and his father, and that went fairly good. He's always been the first of the two to get something, like the learner's permit and licence. He probably has the same IQ as Samuel and couldve taken more AP/ Dual Enrollment, but he preferred to take art classes such as painting, sculptor and other classes like psychology. While Samuel took the nerdy classes, he chose the fine arts. While Samuel can naturally sing and guitar better, Jalil can draw and sculpt better.
